Submissions are currently open for the next issue of The Rebis. Our second anthology will focus on The Chariot, so we are looking for original writing, artwork, and any other form of creative expression that you dream up inspired by the seventh card of the Major Arcana.
Incredible! The Chariot is both my personality and soul card(s). I am *almost* done with this Ph.D. journey...and I would really love to submit something for consideration. Also, I gave my partner the first issue of The Rebis because I bought them the Somnia deck. ♥️ Love The Rebis and will be in touch soon. Many thanks for all the work you do, Hannah.
Oooh! Thank you for the kind words and support. I love that the Chariot is personally meaningful to you and it would be so cool to have you contribute. Let's chat! 💫
I’ve just come across you and I can relate to so much of what you’ve said regarding creative hibernation. I used to co create a quarterly magazine so I know just how much work goes into it, taking a break is vital when it comes to taking care of yourself and nurturing longevity in a project like this.
It’s a shame I missed your deadline date as I was going to submit an excerpt from the first chapter of the memoir I finished writing last year, Becoming: A Psychedelic Search for Wholeness in a Fragmented World. I actually worked with the tarot throughout the process of writing and The Chariot was the very first card I pulled! ✨
Laura, so wonderful to be in touch and thank you for your comment! I'm learning how to move through the rhythmic cycles of production and rest, so different from the capitalist way of working that I became accustomed to during my career in tech. My body and nervous system is still adjusting! I love that you pulled the Chariot as part of your memoir writing. Email me - maybe we can collaborate on something for Substack! hannah@therebis.com ❤️
Hi Hannah, I’ve been reading more of your posts over the past couple of days and so much of what you’re exploring in your writing resonates deeply. I’ll email you this evening to talk more about a collaboration ♥️
